TRANSPORTATION & INFRASTRUCTURE
Fund long-term transportation needs: Support implementation of the $9.2 billion, six-year bipartisan transportation budget (2025–31), as passed in SB 5161, ensuring essential road, bridge, and ferry projects stay on track.
End Traffic: Launch targeted congestion-reduction projects, including expanded HOV lanes, adaptive signal timing, and commuter-focused park-and-ride improvements.
Put Humanity First in the AI & Automation Age: Lay the groundwork for a future where self-driving cars, freight trucks, and autonomous transit corridors are integrated into Washington’s transportation system on our terms. That means public investment in modern infrastructure, strong labor protections so workers aren’t left behind, and clear safety standards that prioritize people over profit. Reduce deadly and near-deadly crashes, cut congestion, and expand mobility access for seniors, people with disabilities, and low-income communities.
